After our pup Kenzo had undergone two major stomach surgeries and was prescribed a strict and expensive diet of pellets and canned food, we noticed a rapid decline in his health.
Heart broken, we worked tirelessly to find a way to save our sweet boy.
Additionally we had to ensure that our formula would be beneficial for our elderly dog, Cesca who suffers from skin cancer & joint pain.
After years of research and testing, together with pet nutritionists and vets we formulated meals that not only drastically increased both of our pups health, but it made them excited to eat again.
Both of our pups became the healthiest & happiest version of themselves.

Pup Chef (Pty) Ltd. has been operating since 2018. Our purpose is to help dogs thrive through natural foods. Pup Chef is registered with the South African, Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries ( DAFF ).
The dream started as a one-man company in the founder's home kitchen. With the help of veterinary nutritionists, specialised recipes were formulated to improve canine gut health. Pup Chef has since grown into a passionate business, with its own certified and industrial kitchen and walk-in freezers.
We cook, package, freeze/store and distributes dog food and treats. Pup Chef meals are preservative-free, gluten-free and contain canine probiotic. Our treats are 100% natural with no salt or preservatives. The organisation's main objectives are to provide healthy, balanced and natural dog food that is convenient.
